Job Requirements
- Be punctual to begin work
- Wear proper uniform including black slacks, T-shirt, hat and slip-proof shoes
- Maintain neat and clean appearance with well-trimmed facial hair and clean nails
- No excessive jewelry
- Responsible for sanitation of all dishes, glassware and silverware
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing machine
- Manage dish machine chemicals and sanitation fluids
- Wash pots and pans following proper procedures
- Organize dish room
- Restock kitchen line and food servers area
- Clean kitchen floors, freezer, refrigerators and cooking equipment
- Maintain back and dumpster area cleanliness
- Clean guest restrooms and parking lot
- Report chemical shortages and breakages
- Take out garbage and cardboard on scheduled dates
- Take breaks and punch in/out on time
- Work overtime if needed
- Complete other assigned tasks willingly
- Ability to stand and walk for up to four hours without extended breaks
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to multitask including use of radio headset
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar dishwasher or kitchen support role preferred
- Ability to follow health and safety standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Effective communication skills
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing and lifting
- Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ability to multitask and operate communication devices such as radio headsets
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all china, glass, silver, pots and pans
- Sanitize dishes, glassware and silverware
- Clean and maintain the dishwashing machine and associated chemicals
- Wash pots and pans using proper procedures including pre-soak, wash, rinse and sanitize
- Organize the dish room effectively
- Restock kitchen line with plates, soup bowls, soup cups, salad plates, and monkey dishes
- Restock food servers area with glassware, silverware and empty buss tubs
- Clean kitchen floors, freezer, refrigerators and cooking equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of back areas, dumpster area, card box container and trash container
- Clean guest restrooms and parking lot
- Report chemical shortages and dish breakages for timely replacement
- Take out garbage and cardboard containers for scheduled pick-ups
- Adhere to uniform standards and maintain a neat appearance
- Work overtime as needed
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
- Follow time management for breaks and punch in/out protocols
