Job Description
Clark Construction is a leading construction company known for delivering world-class projects across various sectors including commercial, infrastructure, and residential developments. With a reputation built on quality, safety, and innovation, Clark is committed to creating environments that inspire and sustain communities. The company emphasizes a culture of excellence, safety, and teamwork, which positions it among the most respected names in the construction industry. As an employer, Clark Construction offers a total compensation package that includes competitive base salaries, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, retirement plans, and various employee support programs. The company promotes a drug-free workplace and requires fitness for duty screenings and ongoing compliance with safety regulations. The Division Safety Manager role at Clark Construction presents an opportunity to join a high-performing team dedicated to achieving exceptional safety standards and operational excellence on all projects. This is a full-time position with a base salary range of $100,000 to $200,000, reflective of experience and location. The role demands a safety-focused professional who is energetic, adaptive, and committed to fostering a culture of care on job sites while driving compliance with all local, state, and federal safety standards.
As a Division Safety Manager, your core mission is to ensure the safety and well-being of employees, trade partners, and the public across all Clark projects. You will be instrumental in embedding Clark's Safety and Health Policy into every phase of the construction process, leading safety education efforts and collaborating closely with project supervisors to develop comprehensive, task-specific safe work plans. Your leadership will help create an environment where safety is a priority and every stakeholder feels accountable. The role requires proactive hazard identification and mitigation, mentorship of safety staff, and facilitation of safety reviews including third-party assessments like OSHA audits. Additionally, you will support corporate safety initiatives such as Red and Blue Alerts and help integrate emerging safety trends into the company’s protocols.
This role involves frequent on-site presence, ensuring real-time safety compliance and fostering a hands-on approach to risk management across diverse construction environments. Given the physical demands and dynamic nature of construction sites, you will need to maintain flexibility and resilience, actively engaging with field teams, managing multiple priorities, and responding promptly to incidents. Strong communication skills are critical, enabling you to influence a broad range of stakeholders from craft workers to senior leaders. Your ability to lead by example and influence organizational culture will be key to Clark’s continuing success in delivering safe, high-quality projects. The position also entails recruiting and retaining top safety talent, helping build a team that embodies Clark’s Standards of Excellence, and supporting business objectives aligned with overall organizational goals. In return, you will be part of a company that values innovation, ethical practices, and employee development, offering extensive resources to support your professional growth and well-being.
