Job Requirements

  • five plus consecutive years of food service experience in high-volume and multi-unit management environments
  • previous success managing prestigious university campus accounts
  • ability to inspire strategic direction and deploy resources
  • cultivate client and internal relationships
  • ensure fulfillment of all contract commitments
  • sustain client satisfaction and retention
  • maintain strong employee relations
  • strong contract negotiation skills
  • experience with union environments and sales presentations

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum seven years of management experience
  • minimum seven years of functional experience in food service
  • proven success managing university campus accounts
  • strong financial acumen and p&l management
  • demonstrated superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • experience in contract negotiations and union environments
  • ability to develop and maintain professional client and employee relationships

Job Duties

  • coordinate and direct all activities within the assigned geographic area through subordinate managers, supervisors, and employees
  • manage financial performance of all accounts
  • maintain client retention and ensure satisfaction
  • oversee employee training and development programs
  • develop and implement business plans and budgets with general managers
  • work with clients and senior leadership to maintain mutually beneficial relationships
  • support succession planning and development of key personnel
