The District Manager position under the direction of the Market Manager is an essential leadership role responsible for overseeing the operational practices of 5-7 Wendy's locations. This role encompasses staff management, full profit and loss responsibility, training and development, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with food safety procedures and health regulations. The District Manager must maintain store quality, cleanliness, and functional operations by regularly visiting stores and coordinating with senior management. Key responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, cross-training, and disciplining general managers and staff as necessary to support optimal store performance.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years district manager or multi-unit manager experience in high volume fast food or quick casual concepts

  • proven track record in financial management, staffing, customer evaluation index results, food safety, and voice of the customer programs
  • excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills

  • previous Wendy's experience a plus

Job Duties

  • Oversee overall operational practices of 5-7 Wendy's locations including staffing and full P&L
  • create and manage budgets
  • ensure all food safety procedures comply with company and health regulations and take corrective actions when needed
  • interview, hire, cross-train, and discipline GMs and staff
  • visit assigned stores regularly to ensure quality, cleanliness, and operational standards are met
  • coordinate with and report to senior management
  • manage training and development programs for store teams
