Job Description
Wendy's is a renowned international fast-food restaurant chain known for its quality food, excellent customer service, and commitment to continuous growth. As a well-established brand in the fast-food industry, Wendy's operates numerous franchises globally, fostering a strong culture of teamwork, innovation, and leadership development. The company places a strong emphasis on training and supporting its employees to help them grow professionally while achieving corporate goals.
This particular opportunity is with one of Wendy's independently owned franchisees located at 149 Westport Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851. The franchise operates with autonomy and can offer tailored compensation, benefits, and career development programs, which may differ from those of company-owned Wendy's locations.
The role of District Manager at Wendy's is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the operations of 4 to 6 Wendy's restaurants. As a District Manager, you will be entrusted with training, developing, and guiding multiple teams to meet Wendy's high standards for customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You will work closely with store managers and staff to ensure that each restaurant performs optimally and aligns with the company's goals and procedures.
This role offers an immersive training experience where you will be coached and supported to excel in your responsibilities. It is a career-oriented role where your growth and development are highly prioritized, and your success is directly reflected in the progress of your teams. The position involves working 50 hours or more per week depending on restaurant performance, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining operational standards and superior customer service. Flexibility and availability around the clock may be needed to support team members and address business needs promptly.
Starting salaries for this District Manager position begin at $70,000 and are adjusted based on your professional experience and qualifications. The role also comes with paid vacation and sick days, with additional benefits that will be discussed during the interview process. Wendy's emphasizes professionalism, a positive attitude, and self-motivation in driving teams towards achieving established goals. As a District Manager, you will be expected not only to lead and develop your teams but also to provide insightful suggestions to help drive the business forward across all aspects.
The position requires a leader who is passionate about coaching others, fostering a dynamic work environment, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. If you thrive in fast-paced settings and are eager to contribute to a company's growth while advancing your career, this role offers an excellent opportunity to make a substantial impact within a leading brand in the fast-food industry.
