Job Description

Habit Burger & Grill is a renowned burger-centric, fast-casual restaurant chain that has been proudly serving fresh, chargrilled burgers and handcrafted sandwiches since 1969. Emphasizing a people-first culture, Habit Burger deeply values hospitality, attitude, integrity, and teamwork, collectively called HABIT. The brand's mission is to foster a sense of family among employees and guests alike with the philosophy "One Habit, One Heart." Known for its premium quality USDA choice tenderloin beef, grilled chicken, and sushi-grade Ahi tuna prepared over an open flame, Habit Burger offers a diverse menu that includes fresh-cut salads, flavorful sides, shakes, and malts. As a testament to its popularity and excellence, Habit Burger & Grill was honored as "America's Favorite Restaurant Chains" by Newsweek in 2022, and also earned the Franchise Times Zor Award as the "Top Franchise to Buy" within the quick service burger category. Currently, Habit Burger is part of Yum Brands, the largest restaurant organization globally, which also includes Taco Bell, KFC, and Pizza Hut, enhancing the brand's strength, reach, and resources.

The District Manager role at Habit Burger & Grill is a vital leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a group of 6 to 8 restaurants. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the District Manager acts as a bridge between the corporate office and restaurant teams to ensure smooth operations and consistent delivery of Habit’s high standards. This role requires strategic planning and strong leadership skills to build cooperative and productive teams that meet and exceed sales and profitability targets. The District Manager is instrumental in coaching and developing management and hourly team members, driving a culture of excellence and genuine hospitality.

Key responsibilities include managing profit and loss, coordinating communication across multiple restaurant locations, improving operational processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The position demands a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and who can inspire positive guest experiences by resolving complaints and engaging teams to deliver exceptional service. Moreover, the District Manager will lead new restaurant openings and support fellow managers within their district to uphold operational standards and foster a collaborative work environment. This role provides an exciting opportunity to grow professionally within a nationally recognized and award-winning brand while making a measurable impact across multiple restaurant locations.
