Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum three years experience in ADA paratransit dispatching
- Three years supervisory or management experience in transportation
- Knowledge of transit operations

Job Duties
- Provide direction and maintain communication with dispatchers
- Monitor system performance and make adjustments to maximize on-time performance
- Minimize customer wait times for on-call or will-call services
- Ensure on-street service meets scope-of-work requirements including vehicle and driver assignments
- Attend bimonthly Agency Dispatch Supervisor Meetings
- Promote company vision, values, and culture
- Support and lead dispatch agents positively
- Maintain positive employee morale and customer service quality
- Assess staffing needs and define staff schedules
- Recruit, interview, and select employees
- Recommend personnel actions including promotions and discipline
- Investigate and resolve complaints and incidents
- Enforce discipline including suspension or termination
- Maintain confidentiality of records and information
- Ensure safety regulations and training are effective
- Follow client and company dispatch protocols
- Coordinate training programs for dispatch staff
- Prepare and authorize schedules and work records for payroll
- Assign work duties to ensure shift coverage
- Monitor driver incidents and equipment failures
- Ensure timely communication of passenger cancellations
- Provide dispatch coverage during peak times and shortages
- Manage vehicle pull-outs and scheduling
- Maximize wage to revenue ratios and minimize overtime
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Keep accurate records and filing systems
