The Dishwasher/Utility Worker role at Potter's House is a part-time, hourly position, designed for someone passionate about serving the community through hands-on work in a kitchen environment. Working 20 to 25 hours weekly during 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM shifts on weekdays and weekends, this individual will play a crucial role in supporting the chefs, staff members, and volunteers who prepare and serve meals. The position is non-exempt and reports directly to the Director of Potter's House. As a Dishwasher/Utility Worker, the primary focus is on maintaining a clean, hygienic, and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities include washing pots, pans, dishes, and kitchen equipment, as well as sweeping and mopping floors to ensure guests and staff alike experience a safe and sanitary setting. Beyond cleaning duties, the worker assists with inventory management of kitchen stock, helping to maintain organized supplies. Occasional help in the dining room and takeout window is required, aiding in smooth meal distribution.

This position requires more than physical labor.
