The Dishwasher / Receiver position at the Miami Marlins plays a crucial support role in ensuring smooth kitchen and catering operations within the organization’s food service team. Job Qualifications

  • Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred
  • knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment
  • reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • willingness to assist in multiple areas of kitchen operations
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and allergen management
  • bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
  • operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
  • maintain cleanliness of dish room, kitchen floors, trash areas, and back-of-house spaces
  • follow all sanitation, hygiene, and food safety standards
  • receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for accuracy, quality, and temperature
  • assist with proper storage of food and supplies following FIFO and food safety guidelines
  • label, date, and rotate products as required
  • report damaged, missing, or spoiled items to kitchen management
  • assist kitchen staff with basic tasks such as trash removal, equipment cleaning, and organization
  • support prep and event breakdown as needed
  • follow all company policies, safety procedures, and cleanliness standards
