Job Description

Napa Valley Wine Train is a renowned luxury and historic travel experience that has been a defining feature of Napa's Wine Country for over 30 years. Operated by Noble House Hotels & Resorts, this iconic establishment offers guests a unique blend of fine dining, scenic views, and first-class service aboard vintage railcars. The company embraces a philosophy centered around "location, distinction, and soul," emphasizing the individuality of each of its properties and team members. Its culture celebrates hospitality professionals who bring passion, personality, and fun to their work environment. The Napa Valley Wine Train stands as a symbol of elegance and memorable adventures, providing both locals and tourists with a chance to experience Napa's rich wine heritage in a distinctive setting.

The Dishwasher role at Napa Valley Wine Train is an essential part of ensuring the smooth operation of its dining services. This is not just a routine cleaning position but a frontline role within a fine dining context on a moving train. Dishwashers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and readiness of culinary items and workstations, supporting the culinary team across various train experiences like the legacy, lunch, and dinner trains, as well as seasonal and private events. The position demands an energetic, friendly, and professional demeanor to contribute positively to guest experiences. Dishwashers in this role work in a fast-paced, confined environment where safety and efficiency are critical. They must be capable of handling physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and functioning smoothly in a small space.

This is a full-time position with shifts that include day, evening, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the demands of the hospitality industry. The salary range for this role is $20.00-$23.00 per hour, offering competitive compensation for the responsibilities involved. Employees enjoy a flexible schedule designed to meet mutual needs, and full-time team members are eligible for comprehensive medical benefits through Kaiser and Blue Cross-Blue Shield, dental coverage via Guardian Dental, and other valuable perks.

The Napa Valley Wine Train encourages a diverse, inclusive, and accessible workplace that values individuality and promotes equal opportunity. The company is committed to fostering a welcoming environment where employees can be their authentic selves while excelling based on their abilities, qualifications, and performance. Joining the team means becoming part of a family-oriented company that values hospitality and teamwork, making every guest interaction special and memorable. This dishwasher role offers not only a job but an opportunity to be part of a storied legacy in one of the nation’s most beautiful wine regions and an engaging workplace culture that emphasizes respect and employee growth.
