The Steward role at Point Place Casino is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the culinary department, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the kitchen staff. This full-time position offers a starting pay rate of $17.50 hourly and requires flexibility to work swing shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends. As a Steward, you will be responsible for operating dishwashing machines efficiently, performing hand-washing of pots and pans following strict sanitation standards, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the dish area. - Ability to operate a dishwashing machine and floor machines
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to lift 31 to 40 pounds

Job Duties
- Effectively loads and operates the dish washing machines
- Hand washes pots, pans and other items in accordance with sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Thoroughly cleans dish machine by emptying and filling tanks
- Ensures that curtains are set up
- Empties grease traps and barrels
- Checks and refills rinse agent and detergent as necessary
- Notifies Supervisor promptly of any irregularities with the machine
- Thoroughly cleans and empties disposal drains regularly
- Keeps dish cleaning area and floor clean and free from debris
