The role offered is a part-time Dishwasher position during the evening shift at Larksfield Place. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment to support high-quality dining services for community residents. Starting at a competitive pay rate of $15 per hour based on experience, this role offers individuals the opportunity to build foundational experience in food service with potential for growth within the organization. As a part-time employee, the dishwasher will work approximately 3 to 4 shifts per week, typically scheduled from 1:30 PM to 8:00 PM, including two weekend shifts weekly. This schedule promotes consistency while allowing room for additional shifts as needed.
The Dishwasher is responsible for operating dishwashing machines and hand-washing kitchen items such as pots, pans, and large tools. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitization standards across kitchen work areas and equipment is essential to support overall food safety. This includes following correct chemical handling and temperature guidelines rigorously. The position also entails disposing of kitchen waste, organizing dish storage, and assisting with deeper cleaning tasks at the end of each shift. Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- ability to follow directions in a fast-paced environment
- willing to work evening and weekend shifts
- must meet vaccination and TB screening requirements
- reliable and motivated to maintain cleanliness
- able to perform physical tasks related to kitchen sanitation
