Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, with a comprehensive platform that spans venue development and end-to-end capabilities across venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, OVG has rapidly grown to serve a diverse collection of seven world-class owned venues and clients, including some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. The company is recognized for its innovative approach to transforming the live entertainment landscape through state-of-the-art venue management, customer service excellence, and strategic partnerships, making it a pioneer in delivering memorable live event experiences worldwide.

The role of Dishwasher at Oak View Group is crucial in upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation at their event venues. This position involves washing and sanitizing all tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment, and small wares to ensure that every item used in food service is free from contamination risks. Employees in this position are expected to maintain excellent attendance and flexibility to work during events as needed to meet business demands. The role pays an hourly wage ranging from $12.00 to $16.00, offering a competitive compensation package for part-time staff.

Duties include utilizing and implementing M.S.D.S. criteria to handle chemicals safely, following food and product safety guidelines, and adhering to Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures. In addition to cleaning and sanitizing duties, the Dishwasher will assist in managing waste by removing trash and keeping loading and receiving areas in safe, orderly condition. The role also requires restocking clean plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans promptly to ensure smooth kitchen and service operations during busy event times.

Oak View Group encourages applicants with previous kitchen experience but also welcomes those new to the role who demonstrate the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, team-oriented, and event-driven environments. Communication skills are vital, as Dishwashers must interact respectfully and clearly with co-workers, management, and guests to foster a positive and cooperative work atmosphere. Candidates also need to possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by local regulations.

Oak View Group prides itself on its commitment to diversity and inclusion, believing that a diverse team drives innovation, enhances service quality, and elevates organizational excellence. They strive to create workplace environments that reflect and celebrate the diverse communities they serve. The company is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to providing an inclusive workspace free from discrimination based on protected characteristics, including race, religion, gender, age, disability, and veteran or uniform service member status, among others.

This Dishwasher position at Oak View Group is a distinctive opportunity to join a visionary leader in the live entertainment industry, gain valuable experience in venue operations, and contribute to the success of world-class events surrounded by a diverse and enthusiastic team. The position will remain open until October 30, 2026, allowing interested candidates ample time to apply and become part of OVG’s innovative and dynamic work culture.
