The role of a Kitchen Team Member, also affectionately referred to as the Heart of House, is integral to ensuring that each shift runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires dependable, quick service and a team-oriented mindset. Those in this role are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. Working in a fast-paced environment, the Kitchen Team Member needs to keep up with the dynamic tempo of the restaurant while contributing to a safe and welcoming atmosphere. The role demands occasional shifts on weekends and holidays and values multitasking skills and reliability. This position offers an hourly wage of $16 to $18 plus tips, with ongoing acceptance of applications until the role is filled. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- must be able to stand for extended periods
- strong communication skills
