We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dedicated kitchen team. In this role, you will be central to maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and operational efficiency of the kitchen by ensuring that all dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly washed, sanitized, and organized. Your efforts will enable our chefs and kitchen staff to focus on preparing high-quality meals that match the standards our customers expect.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior dishwashing or kitchen sanitation experience preferred
- ability to adhere to food safety standards and protocols
- physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
- good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Dishwashing experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred
- able to read documents and written instructions to understand sanitation requirements, safety rules, equipment operation and maintenance, policies, and standard operating procedures
- certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus
- able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and holidays
- capable of standing for long hours, often in wet conditions
- able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (racks of dishes, garbage bags)
- able to work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment
- able to bend, stoop, and reach frequently
- able to operate dishwashing equipment safely
Job Duties
- Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment used in the kitchen
- operating the dishwasher and following proper procedures for loading and unloading items
- sorting, stacking, and organizing clean dishes and utensils in designated storage areas
- maintaining a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and mopping floors and wiping down surfaces
- adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of chemicals and sanitizing solutions
- collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of clean dishes
- following all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment for yourself and others
- providing support to the kitchen team as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to help in various tasks
