Job Description
Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward, an essential position dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. This opportunity is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and desire to develop their culinary and hospitality skills. Our organization prides itself on delivering outstanding guest experiences, and the role of Kitchen Steward plays a pivotal part in supporting chefs, cooks, and food service staff by ensuring all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use at all times.
As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for upholding stringent food safety, handling, and sanitation standards. Working in a high-energy environment, your efforts will directly contribute to a smooth flow of kitchen operations, enabling chefs and service staff to focus on their culinary craft and guest satisfaction. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with other kitchen and banquet team members.
Positioned within a well-established hospitality setting, this role offers hands-on experience in various facets of kitchen maintenance, including dishwashing, kitchen cleanliness, food prep assistance, and catering event support. You will have the chance to participate in banquet setups and contribute to ensuring all serving ware and kitchen equipment meet our high standards before, during, and after events. The role demands adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring workplace safety for yourself and your colleagues.
We provide both the opportunity for growth and a supportive learning environment. While previous experience in food service or kitchen operations is preferred, it is not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Familiarity with sanitation protocols and food safety practices will be an advantage in succeeding in this role. This can be an excellent entry-level position for anyone looking to build a career in the culinary arts or hospitality management.
The compensation starts at $17.87 per hour, reflecting our commitment to valuing the contributions of every team member. This is an in-person, full-time or part-time position based at our facility, ideal for those passionate about working behind the scenes in a dynamic and rewarding environment. If you are team-oriented, reliable, and eager to contribute to an energetic hospitality operation devoted to excellence, we encourage you to apply. Your contributions will be recognized and essential in maintaining the smooth functioning of our kitchen and the satisfaction of our guests.
