The role of Dishwasher is vital behind the scenes in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and order that support exceptional guest experiences in the hotel's restaurants and kitchens. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the dishwashing equipment to ensure all dishes and utensils are processed efficiently and safely. This role requires managing the cleanliness of the dish area and kitchen, including tasks such as emptying garbage, mopping floors, and safely handling cleaning chemicals. The Dishwasher supports the flow of the kitchen operation by stacking and storing dishes properly, assisting with equipment movement, and setting up bus stations. Attention to safety and cleanliness is critical, ensuring that the working environment is sanitary and hazard-free. Ideal candidates for the role will need to demonstrate the ability to tolerate varied working conditions, adapt quickly to changing activities, and preferably have prior hospitality, cleaning, or janitorial experience. Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain dish machine to standards, efficiently processing dishes and utensils
  • Manage clean dishes, unload, stack, and store them in designated areas
  • Maintain cleanliness in dish area and kitchen, including emptying garbage cans and performing general cleaning tasks
  • Ensure floor safety by sweeping, mopping, and drying, and transport soiled ware to designated areas
  • Handle cleaning chemicals safely, wipe down countertops, restock supplies, and assist with equipment movement
  • Set up equipment and bus stations for efficient service, anticipating event order needs and performing additional assigned duties
