The Dishwasher position at Eurest is a full-time role based at the Bank of America location in Greensboro, North Carolina. This position offers a fixed hourly pay rate of $16.00 and operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards within the kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, pots, pans, trays, utensils, and work areas meet the company’s rigorous hygiene requirements. Job Requirements
- Experience required
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Willingness to work full-time Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Must be able to pass background screening if required
- Compliance with drug-free workplace policies
- Must be able to work at the specified Greensboro, NC location
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role required
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Effective communication skills and teamwork mindset
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
- Washes pots, pans and trays based on assigned procedures
- Polishes silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment
- Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures
- Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards
- Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards
- Sweeps and mops kitchen floors
- Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces
- Removes trash and places it in designated containers
- Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans
- Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- Helps load and unload supplies and product
- Performs other duties as assigned
