Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

- basic understanding of safety and hygiene practices in a kitchen setting
Job Duties
- Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machines
- washes pots, pans, and trays following assigned procedures
- polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods
- maintains the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and work areas
- monitors and maintains safety standards including temperature and chemical levels
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors to uphold safety and sanitation requirements
- assists with loading and unloading supplies and equipment
