The Dishwasher position at Snowbird is based in the Forklift Restaurant located in the Snowbird Center. This is a year-round, full-time role requiring flexibility in scheduling to meet the restaurant’s business needs. The restaurant operates daily from 8 am to 3 pm, and the dishwasher must be available for morning and daytime shifts, including weekends and holidays. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the kitchen and dining services, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards are consistently maintained. The dishwasher’s responsibilities include washing and sorting soiled dishes, maintaining clean and dry floors, setting up dish stations, and assisting with food preparation as needed. Working under the direction of the Chef, the dishwasher plays a critical support role in maintaining a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment.

Ideal candidates for this position will have a high school diploma or equivalent, up to six months of relevant job experience, and must possess a Food Handler Permit. The ability to safely operate dish machines and use cleaning chemicals is important, along with good communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and other departments. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for extended periods, and navigate slippery conditions safely.
