  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
  • Current California Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to read two and three syllable words
  • Recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
  • Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbal
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work in wet, humid, cold or hot conditions
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Dependability and punctuality

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Operate and maintain dish machine
  • Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out from curb to curb
  • Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
  • Receives and stores all orders properly
  • Assist in food preparation as needed
  • Assigned to other and/or multiple departments besides primary job code
  • Work on special projects or assist with other work necessary to the operations of the company
  • May have job duties altered or reassigned by management
