The role of Dishwasher is a crucial part of the restaurant’s operations. It involves washing, sanitizing, and drying all food service utensils, kitchenware, and miscellaneous items such as plates, silverware, glassware, pots, and pans. Maintaining a clean and sanitary back-of-house environment is also a key responsibility, with additional cleaning duties as assigned. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist level
  • Ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • Ability to follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Pass drug and alcohol test within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned

Job Duties

  • Wash, sanitize and dry dishes, utensils, pots and pans as requested by management or staff

  • Follow proper dishwashing sequence per restaurant specifications
  • Maintain a pace sufficient to prevent backup of dirty dishes
  • Assist with cleanliness of back of house and restrooms
  • Restock all items to appropriate areas after washing
