The role open at Highland Hills is for a full-time Dishwasher working the day shift, an essential position within their food services team. The Dishwasher will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary kitchen environment, directly supporting the facility's mission to deliver high-quality dining services and protect residents from foodborne illnesses and cross-contamination. The position requires responsibility for setting up the dishwashing and potsink areas before meals, washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils during service, and ensuring all items are returned to their proper storage locations. Additional duties include managing weekly cleaning schedules for the kitchen and equipment, properly disposing of waste materials, sweeping and mopping floors, maintaining floor mats, and adhering strictly to sanitation procedures to uphold a healthy dining space. The role also involves following established closing procedures for the kitchen daily.

This role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift 50 pounds or more and remain on one’s feet for extended periods. It also involves working safely around hot liquids, cleaning chemicals, and potentially contaminated materials. Candidates must be comfortable working in high-heat environments and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
