Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training preferred
  • Current California Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to management directions
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to work in environments with moving machinery, sharp objects, and varying temperatures
  • Commitment to safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
  • Current California Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to read two and three syllable words
  • Recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
  • Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions

Job Duties

  • Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Operate and maintain dish machine
  • Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out
  • Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
  • Receive and store all orders properly
  • Assist in food preparation as needed
  • Perform other duties or assist in multiple departments as assigned
  • Work on special projects or other tasks necessary to the company operations
  • Adapt to any changes or reassignments in job responsibilities
