Duties include cleaning and storing all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools, operating and maintaining the dish machine, managing trash removal, mopping floors, maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant both inside and outside, and bussing tables to ensure a neat dining environment. The dishwasher also receives and properly stores all food orders, which requires attention to detail and compliance with safety and sanitation protocols, including holding a valid California Food Handlers Card.

Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- Current California Food Handlers Card
- Ability to read two and three syllable words
- Recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
- Ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions

Job Duties
- Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Operate and maintain dish machine
- Take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out from curb to curb
- Bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
- Receive and store all orders properly
- Assist in food preparation as needed
- Assist different departments as assigned
- Work on special projects or other duties as necessary
- Adapt to changes in job duties or assignments
