The role of Utility Cleaner at the JW Marriott Dallas on 800 N Harwood St is a full-time non-management position within the Food and Beverage and Culinary department. As a Utility Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in supporting multiple hotel functions spanning various departments, including kitchen operations, food and beverage services, and laundry. Your responsibilities will primarily focus on maintaining cleanliness and supporting the overall guest experience by preparing fresh linen, handling spotlessly cleaned dining ware, and operating necessary cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, and linen washers and dryers.
This position requires versatility and teamwork, as Utility Cleaners may be called upon to transport dishware or linens across the hotel premises. Adhering to the company’s quality standards and safety protocols is critical, along with maintaining a professional appearance and demonstrating excellent communication. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
