Job Requirements
- Must have 1 or more years of experience in retail grocery restaurant or hospitality operations
- Must have strong attention to detail with organizational skills ability to multitask and work at a fast pace
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements grasping bending reaching
- Ability to lift push or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself
- Ability to use tools and equipment such as knives ladders stepstools box cutters pallet jacks
- Ability to spend long periods standing or walking up to 4 hours or as required by law
- Willingness to adhere to dress code including wearing an approved hat hair net and/or beard guard
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends days evenings and holidays
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in retail grocery restaurant or hospitality operations
- Strong attention to detail with organizational skills ability to multitask and work at a fast pace
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail culinary and/or grocery experience preferred
- Experience with electronic shelf label systems inventory management technology or AI-enabled retail tools preferred
Job Duties
- Ensure all deli products meet freshness and quality standards including proper rotation and dating
- Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage
- Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items
- Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures
- Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events
- Follow all The Fresh Market policies food safety requirements and sanitation procedures
- Engage guests with a friendly helpful approach when on the sales floor
