The role available is for a Dishwashing Team Member, a vital position that ensures the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen environment. This hourly position offers a wage range of $16.00 to $25.40, commensurate with experience, alongside comprehensive benefits known as "Whole Benefits." The Dishwashing Team Member is responsible for washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment. Additionally, this role entails maintaining the overall cleanliness of kitchen floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves to uphold safety and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations. This role requires a reliable team member who is punctual, properly groomed, and ready to work all scheduled shifts and attend necessary training sessions. The position supports team goals by adhering to standard operating procedures and modeling outstanding customer service by responding courteously to customers and fellow team members. The dishwashing team member also contributes to maximizing sales by assisting in the proper handling, organizing, storing, and rotating of kitchen deliveries. Furthermore, the role demands compliance with established health, safety, and sanitation policies, participating fully in all designated opening, mid, and closing duties, and reporting any safety hazards or violations promptly. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or walk for extended periods, and work in various conditions such as cold refrigerator areas or warmer kitchen settings. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed is necessary. Job Requirements

  • No prior retail experience required
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours per 8-hour shift

  • ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares
  • maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area
  • assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products
  • arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
  • works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings
  • provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques
  • answers phones and pages promptly and courteously
  • maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
  • follows and complies with established procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
  • maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
  • maintains equipment in accordance with WFM cleanliness and safety standards
  • performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
