This role is based at the VMware headquarters located in Palo Alto, where Sodexo provides food service and facility support under a full-time employment model. The Dishwasher position offers a salary range between $20 and $21 per hour and includes weekday morning and afternoon or evening shifts, with specific details provided during the interview process.

As a Dishwasher at Sodexo, you will play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and organization within the food service environment. Your primary responsibilities will include washing dishes by hand or using dishwashing machines, sanitizing worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks, as well as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain sanitary conditions. You will also be responsible for trash and garbage removal, cleaning equipment with approved chemicals, restocking cleaning supplies, and assisting with setup and breakdown tasks as needed.

This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, and the capacity to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally. Attention to detail and adherence to sanitation standards and food safety principles are essential for maintaining a clean working environment.
