The role of a Dishwasher/Utility at Red Lobster is crucial to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organization the restaurant is known for. This part-time position involves cleaning and maintaining all areas of the restaurant, including sanitizing dishware, flatware, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. The Dishwasher/Utility is responsible for operating the dishwasher and other kitchen equipment safely and correctly, as well as emptying all trash in the kitchen and other sections of the restaurant. Beyond these tasks, this role supports kitchen operations by assisting cooks with prep work and preparing Red Lobster’s signature Cheddar Bay biscuits, ensuring smooth daily flow in the kitchen.
Success in this role relies on attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong focus on guest satisfaction. Every decision made by the Dishwasher/Utility should consider the well-being of both guests and team members.
