Currently, the Shanna and Bryan Glazer JCC Event Center is seeking to fill the part-time Dishwasher position. This role is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen operations, ensuring that all dishware and kitchen tools are properly sanitized and stored. The dishwasher will work closely with the kitchen staff to support event preparation and uphold cleanliness standards throughout their shifts. The Dishwasher's essential duties include maintaining dishwasher chemical levels and addressing any operational issues to ensure the machines run efficiently. The role involves cleaning all dishware and kitchen items, storing them appropriately once dry, and assisting kitchen staff in prepping for events. At the end of each shift, responsibilities include trash removal, breaking down boxes for recycling, mopping floors, and sanitizing kitchen surfaces thoroughly. Physical demands of the job require the ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing over 50 pounds using proper techniques and available equipment, as well as the ability to stand, bend, stoop, balance, crawl, and reach for extended periods. The work environment encompasses both indoor and outdoor settings, subject to typical Florida weather conditions.
