Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a food service or hospitality environment preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy kitchen items
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • willingness to adhere to safety and hygiene protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of food handling safety and sanitation practices
  • experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations
  • knowledge of bussing tables and basic food preparation techniques
  • ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
  • excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting culinary operations
  • familiarity with kitchen equipment used in dishwashing and cleaning processes
  • prior banquet or hospitality experience is a plus for supporting large-scale events

Job Duties

  • Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques
  • maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly
  • assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies to support the culinary team
  • support catering and banquet operations by providing clean dishware and assisting with setup and breakdown
  • follow food handling safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met
  • help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
  • collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for service
