The facility is known for its commitment to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient comfort, fostering an environment where health and wellness are the top priorities. Recognized for its supportive work culture and professional growth opportunities, Santa Rosa Post Acute is seeking to expand its team with motivated and skilled individuals who share the mission of enhancing the quality of life for its residents through compassionate care and operational excellence.

This job opening is for a full-time Dishwasher position at Santa Rosa Post Acute. The position offers a competitive wage ranging from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour. The work schedule for this role is from Saturday to Wednesday, 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. The role primarily focuses on performing a variety of physical and manual tasks related to cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes in a clean and sanitary condition. The dishwasher contributes significantly to the efficient operation of the kitchen by ensuring all food preparation areas and tools comply with health and sanitation regulations.

The Dishwasher’s responsibilities include using both automated cleaning equipment and manual washing techniques to clean kitchenware. This involves preparing soiled items for cleaning, operating dishwashing machines with appropriate cleaning solvents, hand washing pots and pans, and maintaining the sanitary conditions of the entire kitchen. The role also requires proper waste disposal, cleaning of work areas, and adhering to hygiene standards by wearing the required food service safety gear such as hairnets, gloves, protective footwear, and safety glasses.

Additionally, the Dishwasher may be called upon to assist with miscellaneous food service duties such as delivering trays and supporting food serving tasks. It is imperative that the Dishwasher maintains confidentiality regarding resident care information, including protected health information, and reports any unauthorized disclosures. Although the role does not involve supervisory responsibilities, it requires alertness, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to keep the kitchen environment safe and sanitary.

This position is well-suited for individuals who are physically capable of handling the demands of the job such as frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional stooping or kneeling. The work environment is typically low to moderate in noise level, and reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities. The role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a dedicated team in a healthcare setting where your contribution directly impacts the wellbeing of the community you serve. Overall, the Dishwasher position at Santa Rosa Post Acute is ideal for those who value cleanliness, operational efficiency, and a supportive team environment.
