The company fosters a culture that values kindness, teamwork, and customer service, making it a highly sought-after workplace for those who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. The private ownership structure allows Merrill to maintain strong family values while implementing innovative approaches to senior living. The company's mission is to offer an inspiring environment for residents, families, and team members where every life is filled with possibilities.

Merrill Gardens at Auburn, located in Auburn, WA, is currently seeking a part-time Dishwasher to join their team. This role is crucial in supporting the culinary operations by maintaining cleanliness and assisting with food preparation during meal times. The position requires working Sunday and Monday evenings from 12pm to 8pm, making it suitable for individuals seeking part-time work with a consistent schedule. Dishwashers at Merrill Gardens play an essential role in upholding health and safety standards by ensuring that all dishes are washed thoroughly and all cleaning tasks are performed according to federal, state, and local regulations. This job is ideal for team-focused individuals with a strong commitment to customer service and a positive attitude toward working in a dynamic senior living community.

Supporting the wellbeing of its employees, Merrill Gardens offers a comprehensive benefits package even for part-time team members, demonstrating their dedication to employee satisfaction and career growth. Benefits include a free meal during each shift, access to a 401(k) plan with company match and immediate vesting, tuition reimbursement to encourage learning and development, and company-paid Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to support mental health and wellbeing. The company also provides pet insurance, team member discounts, and an advance pay benefit that allows employees to access wages before payday. Moreover, Merrill Gardens is a stable and growing company with numerous opportunities for advancement, making it an excellent place to build a long-term career in the senior living industry.

The role demands physical stamina involving frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting materials up to 50 pounds, and manual handling. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Candidates must hold a valid Food Handler's Permit and possess flexibility with their schedule, including the availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. The pay range is competitive and varies based on experience, education, and additional certifications. While hiring at the maximum of this range is not typical, it allows room for salary growth over time.

Joining Merrill Gardens means becoming part of a mission-driven company committed to enriching the lives of seniors while investing in employees through a supportive work environment and comprehensive benefits.
