Job Requirements

Food Handler’s Permit as required
Flexibility with schedule and availability to work early morning and evening shifts as well as weekends and holidays
Ability to stand and walk frequently
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs
Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving bending, lifting, and reaching
Compliance with health and safety standards
Willingness to work in a senior living community environment

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid Food Handler’s Permit
Previous experience in food service or dishwashing preferred
Ability to work flexible hours including early morning, evening, weekends, and holidays
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
Ability to handle physical demands of the role

Job Duties

Washing all dishes and assisting cooks in preparation of breakfast, lunch, or dinner meals
Complete all cleaning duties on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule
Handle all food, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with federal, state and local procedures
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dishwashing area
Assist with inventory and supply management related to dishwashing supplies
Follow all safety and health regulations to protect residents and staff
Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure smooth operations
