- 1-3 months related experience or training
- current California Food Handlers Card
- ability to read and understand basic English
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to follow simple instructions
- capability to lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds regularly
- availability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environment
- adherence to company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- current California Food Handlers Card
- ability to read two and three syllable words
- recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers
- ability to speak and understand English both written and verbally
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions
Job Duties
- Clean and put away all plates, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- operate and maintain dish machine
- take out trash, mop restaurant floors and maintain general restaurant cleanliness inside and out from curb to curb
- bus tables and maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
- receive and store all orders properly
- assist in food preparation as needed
- perform additional tasks in other departments as assigned
- work on special projects or assist with other company operations as directed
- adapt to job duty changes, reassignment, or additional job responsibilities
