The Dishwasher role at Grand Living is pivotal in supporting this exceptional dining experience for residents, their families, and guests. Scheduled between 11am and 9pm with required weekend availability, this position demands flexibility and dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency in the dishwashing area. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Dishwasher is responsible for the safe loading, running, and sanitation of dishwashing machines while ensuring the dish area remains neat, organized, and ready to meet the demands of a luxury dining setting. This position upholds The Sterling Touch® service standard, which emphasizes professionalism, friendliness, courtesy, helpfulness, and timeliness. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged preferred
- one year or more fine dining or restaurant experience preferred
- ability to read, write and understand english
- sufficient manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment
- physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull
- ability to lift or carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
