The company provides comprehensive and integrated building systems that serve commercial, industrial, and residential construction and restoration projects. With a strong global footprint spanning North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, India, and Latin America, Tremco CPG operates through a network of regional businesses and distributors uniquely positioned to meet the specific needs of local markets. This global presence is supported by a commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability, serving clients with excellence across diverse markets.
This role is a senior leadership position focused on manufacturing operations across multiple facilities located within close proximity to each other. The Manufacturing Operations Leader will spearhead people and change management initiatives including technology system implementations, while driving continuous improvement efforts through Lean manufacturing practices and other performance metrics. This position demands an individual with a strategic mindset who can develop and execute both long-term and short-term operational plans aimed at achieving key performance indicators related to safety, productivity, quality, and financial performance. The successful candidate will ensure safety is the primary value in all manufacturing environments and will use data-driven approaches to optimize workforce management and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities include regular site visits to manage teams and oversee processes, provide financial control, and lead growth initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. The role involves significant leadership in setting budgets, controlling costs, implementing operational improvements, and facilitating Lean transformation initiatives by working closely with senior leadership and peers. The leader will focus on building a high-performing workforce equipped with strong accountability and will continuously seek ways to streamline operations, enhance capacity planning, and improve overall inventory management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manufacturing environments, preferably with a background in fabrication or chemical manufacturing, and a proven track record of managing multiple locations. This role also requires excellent communication and coaching skills to develop team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
The starting base salary for this role is $150,000 and will be adjusted based on qualifications, experience, and company considerations. Employment is onsite at the manufacturing facility with daily travel required between the five nearby locations. Tremco CPG offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, a pension plan, performance-based bonuses, and support for continuing education. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned operations leader seeking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and growing manufacturing environment with a recognized global company committed to employee development and diversity.
