The hotel is currently seeking a high-energy, dynamic professional to join the leadership team as the Director of Sales, Catering, & Marketing. This pivotal role is integral to the hotel's ongoing success, tasked with spearheading the sales and marketing initiatives that drive revenue growth and ensure the property’s competitive edge. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director will collaborate closely to develop and implement strategic business development plans, focusing on securing bookings across transient and group segments.

The successful candidate will bring a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer behaviors, fostering an environment where innovation and data-driven decision-making thrive. Responsibilities include leading annual budget development with the revenue team, reforecasting revenue on a monthly basis, and managing contracts and transient requests for proposals. The Director will leverage industry tools such as Agency360, Demand360, and OTA Insight to gather market intelligence, optimize room rates, and drive improvements in Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).

This leadership role requires someone who can cultivate strong client relationships, reduce group liabilities, and ensure that booking strategies and rate structures are agile and responsive to market conditions. The Director will also oversee the sales and catering management team, fostering a high-energy and results-driven culture. Leadership responsibilities extend to managing marketing efforts, ensuring the hotel remains top of mind within its target markets, and participating actively in overall hotel operations to guarantee seamless service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, hotel management, or general business and hold at least eight years of relevant experience in hotel sales, with a minimum of three years in marketing. Multilingual skills are considered advantageous given the diverse market base. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, hotel management, or general business
  • At least eight years of hotel sales experience
  • Minimum of three years in marketing
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing strategies
  • Experience with revenue management and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate a sales team

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, hotel management, or general business
  • At least eight years in hotel sales with at least three years also in marketing
  • Additional language ability preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist in the development of the annual budget together with the hotel revenue team to determine revenue strategy
  • mix of sales between transient/group and ADR growth
  • Reforecast revenues and sales expenses in P3 on a monthly basis
  • Oversee the Contract account and build a strong relationship
  • Complete all transient RFPs and participate in the rate structure
  • Actively participate in weekly Revenue management meetings
  • Analyze STR performance focusing on increasing RevPAR year over year
