Reporting directly to senior management, the Director will collaborate extensively with club staff, league personnel, and law enforcement agencies to develop and enforce protocols that protect all stakeholders, including fans, players, employees, and partners. A key focus will be on maintaining and enhancing venue safety protocols, overseeing security personnel and contractors, and managing physical security systems to mitigate risks and respond to emergent incidents effectively.

The Director of Safety & Security will lead several essential initiatives, including the management of digital surveillance systems, the creation of venue safety and emergency action plans, and conducting hands-on training sessions and emergency exercises aimed at increasing readiness and response efficiency. The Director will serve as the primary point of contact for security coordination during match days and special events, ensuring that all operational aspects align with the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Candidates ideal for this role should possess extensive experience in large-scale sports or entertainment venues within security functions, demonstrating expertise in event technology, physical security systems, and emergency management. The position requires a blend of strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to foster collaborative relationships across diverse teams and external agencies. This role comes with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, given the nature of live sporting events and activities conducted throughout the year. The Director is expected to manage not only routine operational security but also be prepared to respond to complex security challenges with agility, professionalism, and strategic insight.
