Job Description
TPI Hospitality's Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach is a prominent high-volume dining and entertainment destination located in Southwest Florida. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and coastal charm, Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach comprises multiple distinct restaurant concepts including beachfront bars, upscale dining venues, and entertainment spaces. The establishment caters to both local residents and the thriving tourism market, generating over $20 million in annual revenue. With a dynamic mix of dining experiences, from casual cafes to premier banquet and event spaces, Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach has established itself as a staple for destination dining in the community.
The role of Director of Restaurant Operations is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple restaurant concepts within this prestigious hospitality group. This hands-on leader will be tasked with elevating operational efficiencies, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. The position demands a seasoned restaurant operations expert passionate about team development, operational consistency, and innovative restaurant branding. Reporting directly to senior management, the Director will lead diverse teams across various outlets including Lah De Dah Beach Bar & Restaurant, License to Chill Bar & Grill, 5 o'clock Somewhere & Fin's Up Beach Entertainment Complex, JWB upscale dining, Coconut Telegraph Café, and the Compass Rose Ballroom with License to Chill Theatre.
This director-level role requires a strategic vision to build strong standalone restaurant brands that resonate with both locals and visitors. The candidate will implement robust systems and procedures designed to streamline service delivery while maximizing profitability. Another key aspect of the position involves collaborating with culinary leadership to continuously refine menus, improve service flow, and create memorable dining experiences aligned with the Margaritaville lifestyle. Through local marketing partnerships, promotional events, and entertainment programming, the Director will strengthen restaurant presence within the competitive Southwest Florida hospitality market.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader with 8+ years of progressive experience managing high-volume, multi-unit restaurant operations along with banquet and event coordination. Excellent financial acumen is necessary to oversee budgets, labor scheduling, cost controls, and operational KPIs. The candidate should be comfortable utilizing technology platforms such as Toast POS and UKG for workforce management and business analytics. A hands-on leadership style marked by strong floor presence and team mentorship is essential to foster a culture of accountability, development, and superior guest service.
This is an opportunity for a driven professional to make a significant impact by shaping the culture, enhancing operational performance, and driving sustainable revenue growth. The role offers a competitive compensation package, including a generous base salary, profit-sharing incentives, and full benefits with health insurance, paid time off, 401(k) matching, and employee discounts. Joining TPI Hospitality at Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach means becoming part of a collaborative environment focused on innovation, excellence, and creating unique dining experiences within a thriving hospitality market.
