Committed to excellence in the hospitality business, White Lodging places a strong emphasis on creating memorable experiences that make guests feel valued and welcomed. Their diverse portfolio and commitment to quality service make them a leader in the premium hospitality industry, continually striving to uphold the highest standards in their properties and guest interactions. Located in Charlotte, the JW Marriott Charlotte is part of this prestigious portfolio, offering luxurious accommodations, exceptional dining options, and an inviting atmosphere for both business and leisure travelers. Known for its upscale amenities, innovative dining venues, and commitment to guest satisfaction, JW Marriott Charlotte exemplifies the values and vision White Lodging champions throughout its properties.
The Director of Outlets position at JW Marriott Charlotte is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the dining experiences across all restaurant venues on property. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge and experience in multi-outlet food and beverage operations. The primary objective is to ensure that each restaurant and bar under the JW Marriott Charlotte umbrella delivers exceptional service aligned with White Lodging's high standards and brand expectations. The successful candidate will lead the execution of consistent and innovative dining concepts, driving both guest satisfaction and revenue growth.
This position involves the strategic implementation of food and beverage programs, including leading new menu rollouts, tastings, and utilizing key software systems such as Birchstreet for operational efficiency. The Director of Outlets collaborates closely with executive chefs and front-of-house leadership teams to design and execute promotions and marketing initiatives that boost engagement and enhance the overall dining experience. A key aspect of the role is fostering leadership development among outlet managers and ensuring they receive robust training, including adherence to the White Lodging Worldwide Restaurant Manager Training and FOH Training Programs.
Accountability for operational performance is central to this position, where monitoring metrics like guest satisfaction, financial results, and team growth is essential. The role demands strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and hands-on mentorship capabilities to cultivate a cohesive and motivated team. Experience with opening or re-opening restaurant concepts and managing standard operating procedures (SOPs) is highly desirable, as the position requires ensuring compliance and maintaining seamless operations during transitions or new initiatives.
This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation, along with comprehensive benefits from day one. The benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid parental leave, vacation and paid time off with rollover options, 401(k) plan with company match, complimentary wellness tools, unlimited referral bonuses, leadership development programs, and tuition reimbursement. Additionally, employees enjoy discounts on hotel rooms, dining, and various travel and entertainment experiences, alongside the opportunity to grow within a network of multiple hotels in key markets. White Lodging is proud to be an equal opportunity employer dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion among its workforce.
