The Purchasing Director role at Four Seasons Resort Napa Valley is a vital leadership position responsible for managing the overall operations of the Purchasing, Receiving, and Storeroom departments. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all hotel departments have timely and efficient access to supplies necessary for smooth operation. This position demands a strong focus on maintaining the highest levels of integrity and transparency when interacting with business partners, ensuring fair and ethical business practices in line with company policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day duties of the Receiving Clerk, coordinating purchasing activities, and administering contract management with proper authorization controls. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels to optimize stock management, conducting quality control audits, and ensuring the secure, clean, and organized condition of storage areas. The director will work closely with corporate teams and departmental heads to plan annual operating equipment and supply needs, support capital project purchasing, and regularly review cost reports to manage budgetary goals.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in hotel purchasing, including at least two years serving as a Director of Purchasing. A college education or equivalent experience is required. Candidates must possess valid US work authorization as this role is not eligible for work sponsorship or visa.
