The role of Director of Operations at the Wedgewood Hotel and Spa is a pivotal leadership position that demands a dynamic and self-motivated professional passionate about elevating luxury hospitality service. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this individual will spearhead the strategic and daily operations across multiple departments including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Events. This role thrives on leadership visibility, requiring the incumbent to maintain a strong presence throughout the property to support operational teams during peak periods and special events. They will lead regular executive and departmental meetings to promote clear communication, align cross-functional teams, and rapidly address any operational challenges. A key aspect of the job is proactively gathering guest feedback and resolving issues with professionalism and care, all while implementing meaningful service improvements to exceed guest expectations.
