The Director of Operations role at CPV is a pivotal leadership position reporting directly to the President and CEO. This executive-level role is accountable for the overall operational performance of the company, overseeing production, quality control, procurement, facilities management, and the manufacturing workforce. Unlike operational roles that perform hands-on tasks, this position demands a strategic leader who ensures the operation is aligned, fully resourced, and maintains accountability for delivering profitable, on-time, OEM-quality results. CPV operates in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment where flexibility and responsiveness to customer requirements and production schedules are essential. The Director of Operations will be responsible for balancing day-to-day operational effectiveness with continuous long-term improvements, fostering the growth of capable leaders, and enhancing process accountability and system efficiencies to generate consistent outcomes.

The new Director of Operations will play a crucial role as CPV scales its operations, protecting the core values and unique culture that set the company apart. This leader will be expected to drive improvements in on-time delivery, reduce scrap and waste, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that form the foundation of a disciplined operating rhythm. The role demands an experienced professional with at least eight years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing, particularly in custom or make-to-order environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in improving throughput, operational efficiency, and schedule reliability without compromising quality. CPV looks for a leader who is hungry, humble, and smart—someone who takes ownership, works collaboratively with respect, and communicates effectively to build trust and accountability.

CPV offers a competitive base salary starting at $120,000, with the potential for higher compensation for candidates demonstrating exceptional skills and leadership.
