Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education experience
  • Education and experience in accordance with Minnesota Department of Education guidelines
  • Experience in school nutrition program management
  • Commitment to equitable education of all students
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills
  • Experience in personnel management
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to successfully implement responsibilities listed in position overview

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education experience
  • SNA Level 4 Certification preferred
  • At least two years of relevant school nutrition experience preferred
  • Commitment to equitable education of all students
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills
  • Experience with personnel management
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to implement position responsibilities
  • Experience working with diverse learners preferred
  • Graduate-level work or participation in professional organization conferences or seminars preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan, development, and implementation of policies, procedures, and daily operations
  • Lead managers in coaching, evaluating, developing, and retaining high-performing teams
  • Maintain appropriate staffing structures
  • Collaborate with administrators, principals, community partners, families, and students to improve meal programs and processes
  • Ensure nutrition service operations comply with Minnesota Department of Health and Minnesota Department of Education standards
  • Perform student-driven menu planning
  • Oversee food safety, procurement, financial and program management and accountability, personnel management, and related activities
