Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education experience
- Education and experience in accordance with Minnesota Department of Education guidelines
- Experience in school nutrition program management
- Commitment to equitable education of all students
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills
- Experience in personnel management
- Highly effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to successfully implement responsibilities listed in position overview
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education experience
- SNA Level 4 Certification preferred
- At least two years of relevant school nutrition experience preferred
- Commitment to equitable education of all students
- Exceptional planning and organizational skills
- Experience with personnel management
- Highly effective interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to implement position responsibilities
- Experience working with diverse learners preferred
- Graduate-level work or participation in professional organization conferences or seminars preferred
Job Duties
- Plan, development, and implementation of policies, procedures, and daily operations
- Lead managers in coaching, evaluating, developing, and retaining high-performing teams
- Maintain appropriate staffing structures
- Collaborate with administrators, principals, community partners, families, and students to improve meal programs and processes
- Ensure nutrition service operations comply with Minnesota Department of Health and Minnesota Department of Education standards
- Perform student-driven menu planning
- Oversee food safety, procurement, financial and program management and accountability, personnel management, and related activities
