The Executive Housekeeper role at Tenaya Lodge is a pivotal leadership position responsible for managing the housekeeping team to ensure the resort meets the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and readiness for guests. In this role, the Executive Housekeeper will oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations of the housekeeping team, ensuring optimal productivity and staff development. Managing inventory and ordering supplies to maintain seamless operations will be critical, alongside meticulous oversight of expense control, payroll, and logistical coordination. Conducting routine inspections and implementing corrective actions to uphold resort standards will ensure guest satisfaction and safety.   • Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils dryers washers tools fixtures and cleaning solvents
  • Knowledge of how to use Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning solvents
  • No degree required
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage a team of housekeepers including hiring training scheduling and performance management and evaluation
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies order and distribute supplies and equipment
  • Ensure that all reports orders and projects are completed
  • Monitor and control expenses and payroll while ensuring proper resources are in place
  • Conduct housekeeping inspections and take corrective action as needed
  • Ability to drive company vehicles throughout the property
