This role involves developing strong leaders, cultivating an outstanding employee and guest experience, and designing systems, standards, and a company culture that enable successful scalability. The successful candidate will balance operational and financial excellence while measuring success through the strength of hospitality teams, cultural consistency, and sustainable growth without compromising the unique spirit of Headlands. Candidates should be adept in both the hands-on, guest-facing aspects of hospitality and strategic organizational leadership—comfortable with tasks such as reviewing profit and loss statements, coaching managers, resolving guest issues, and ensuring new employees feel welcomed and valued from their very first shift. The role demands a genuine care for people and a firm belief that great hospitality begins with great teams, supported by a proven track record of leadership in hospitality settings. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years leadership experience in hospitality
  • Significant multi-unit management experience
  • Strong financial acumen including P&L management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and lead teams effectively
  • Passion for hospitality and people
  • Commitment to sustainability and community values

Job Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive hospitality leadership experience
  • Meaningful multi-unit management experience
  • Demonstrated success developing managers and leadership teams
  • Proven financial and operational management track record
  • Experience building systems and processes that scale
  • Craft beer experience a plus with genuine passion for the category

Job Duties

  • Build trust, credibility, and culture across the hospitality organization
  • Develop managers into exceptional leaders and coaches
  • Drive consistent financial performance across all venues including P&L, labor, SPLH, and prime costs
  • Build operating systems, SOPs, and standards that scale
  • Lead multi-unit operations with a focus on consistency and guest experience
  • Support new venue openings and rapid stabilization
  • Create accountability systems that don’t sacrifice humanity
