The Director of General Services & Hospitality role at Acts is a pivotal leadership position requiring a seasoned professional with extensive hospitality management experience. This role is responsible for overseeing all operational, quality, and resident-focused aspects within the community. The Director provides leadership and direction to staff across various departments including culinary services, property management, environmental services, security, and transportation. A key focus of this role is to ensure delivery of outstanding service that aligns with or exceeds the service and sales benchmarks set by senior management. The incumbent manages compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and is accountable for budgetary performance and maintaining the physical plant's appearance and functional operations. Acting as a guardian of service excellence, they ensure the smooth daily delivery of amenities and resident-oriented services such as fine and casual dining, beauty salons, fitness centers, security, transportation, and grounds maintenance. The Director’s leadership fosters a positive community environment that supports the mission and vision of Acts. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range from $117,760 to $153,718 annually, with the starting rate dependent on skills and experience. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in hotel/resort management or related field
  • minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in hospitality industry including luxury or high-end resort operations
  • 5-10 years leadership experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager
  • ability to manage complex operational budgets
  • strong understanding of compliance requirements
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • effective communication and leadership capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hotel/resort management or related field
