Job Description

Interstate X is a rapidly growing transportation and logistics company based in Lewisville, Texas. We specialize in delivering exceptional transportation solutions across the United States, offering top-tier customer service and innovative logistics options that support the evolving needs of our clients. Our company's foundation rests on the principles of effective communication, accountability, and operational excellence. We pride ourselves on a culture that promotes growth, collaboration, and commitment to quality, which has propelled our expansion in a highly competitive industry. Operating in the freight brokerage and transportation sector, Interstate X continuously seeks to advance its operational capabilities through dedicated leadership and strategic initiatives. As we expand, we are dedicated to nurturing talent and establishing a structured and scalable operation that positions us for long-term success.

We are currently seeking a Director of Freight Brokerage Operations to lead multiple teams, enhance operational processes, foster stronger customer relationships, and drive organizational growth. This role is designed as a hands-on leadership position for an individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Director will be deeply involved in the day-to-day management of brokerage operations, dispatch, customer service, carrier relations, and account management while working closely with executive leadership to shape the company's future. Unlike typical desk management roles, this position requires a builder mentality—someone prepared to create structure, implement accountability, and introduce measurable process improvements. The Director of Freight Brokerage Operations will not only oversee current operations but also build and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), develop training programs, and create workflows that enhance efficiency and scalability. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing multiple operational teams, strong analytical skills to interpret and report on operational metrics, and exceptional customer relationship management abilities. They will also be adept at process improvement, risk management, and compliance in the freight brokerage industry. This challenging and rewarding position comes with a competitive salary of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, performance-based bonuses, and 100% company-paid health insurance. There is a clearly defined growth path, with the opportunity to advance into the Vice President of Operations role as Interstate X scales. Joining our team means working within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment where your leadership will directly influence the success and growth trajectory of the company. If you are a passionate transportation professional looking for a career-defining opportunity, we encourage you to apply and become a pivotal part of Interstate X's future.
