This ethos is not just a policy but the heart of the company’s guiding principle, the Golden Rule. Employees of Four Seasons are part of a diverse and collaborative collective dedicated to pushing boundaries, enhancing skills, and delivering unparalleled service across its worldwide properties. Each hotel and resort strives to craft memorable impressions that resonate with guests for a lifetime, maintaining impeccable standards of luxury and a genuine spirit of care.

Situated in the vibrant city of St. Louis, the Four Seasons Hotel offers an urban oasis along the majestic Mississippi River. This resort-style hotel boasts spectacular views of the iconic Gateway Arch and is perfectly placed within the city’s entertainment district, close to landmarks like Horseshoe Casino. Guests enjoy amenities such as a sky terrace with private poolside cabanas, innovative dining venues like Cinder House, and elegantly appointed rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that capture the stunning river vistas. The hotel combines the energy of downtown St. Louis with the tranquility of luxury accommodations, creating a unique destination for both leisure and business travelers.

The Director of Food and Beverage at Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis plays a critical leadership role in shaping the culinary and beverage vision for the property. Responsibilities extend beyond operational management to include budgeting, forecasting, labor control, and purchasing, all aimed at optimizing financial performance and creative revenue generation. The role requires close collaboration with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and Planning Committee to curate menus, wine programs, and unique offerings that balance quality, innovation, and value. Maintaining compliance with Four Seasons’ standards, policies, and local regulations is also essential.

This position requires a visible and engaged leadership style, building strong relationships with guests, team members, and internal departments to ensure service excellence and operational harmony. The Director of Food and Beverage must champion Four Seasons cultural values, maintaining an environment where team members feel motivated and empowered. By driving continuous improvement and fostering communication across all levels of the hotel, the Director contributes significantly to the property’s reputation as a premier luxury destination in St. Louis.

Ideal candidates will have a college degree in hotel or restaurant management or business administration coupled with substantial experience leading large-scale food and beverage operations in luxury or upscale hospitality settings. The successful Director will demonstrate strong financial acumen, expertise in guest service excellence, and a passion for mentoring and developing their team.

Four Seasons is proud to offer a lucrative salary and a comprehensive benefits package starting at 30 days, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401K plan with employer matching. Employees enjoy generous time-off plans, complimentary and discounted hotel stays worldwide, wellness initiatives, support for mental health, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. The company fosters a cohesive and inclusive work environment where every team member’s contribution is valued and recognized.
